– Create VR Environments in Unreal Engine 4 based on concepts and ideas
– Create assets from proxy phase to final shippable quality
– UV mapping and baking
– Generating materials (PBR) (Substance Designer and Painter)
– Collaborate with creative leads to create environments which balance aesthetics with playability and technical feasibility
– Create performance strong shader network in Unreal Engine 4
– Ensure that the high-quality bar established in the Art Direction is maintained and the game runs at defined frame-rate
– proficiency with Unreal Engine 4 material system and PBR.
– Good understanding of UE 4 lighting, particles and dynamics.
– Good understanding of UE 4 Blueprints.
– Good understanding of UE 4 profiling tools.
– Experience with UE 4 tools and workflows including materials and content optimizations
– Modelling skills using 3DSMax/Blender/Maya or similar, ZBrush
– Solid knowledge of composition, art and design
– The ability work within a designated artistic style and to execute according to the overall art direction and project goals
