About the Role
HOLOGATE is looking for a highly skilled Tools / PowerShell Developer (m/f/d) to strengthen our internal development and IT automation capabilities. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain tools, scripts, and automation workflows that support our infrastructure, development teams, and operational processes. Your work will significantly contribute to stability, scalability, and efficiency across our systems and teams.

Your Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain PowerShell scripts, tools, and automation frameworks to streamline operational workflows

Build utilities for system monitoring, configuration management, and automated deployment processes

Extend and modernize existing toolsets while ensuring compatibility and performance

Collaborate closely with IT, DevOps, and Development teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored automation solutions

Troubleshoot scripting and tool-related issues, providing reliable and scalable solutions

Create documentation for tools, processes, and workflows to ensure long-term maintainability

Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying automation opportunities across the organization

Contribute to the enhancement of infrastructure reliability, security, and efficiency
Your Profile

Strong experience in PowerShell development, scripting, and automation

Solid understanding of Windows-based systems, system administration, and configuration management

Experience developing internal tools or utilities (e.g., monitoring, deployment, configuration automation)

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

Good understanding of networking fundamentals, system security, and best practices

Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

German language skills (C1/C2) required; English proficiency is a strong advantage
